Disclaimer
The following information outlines the nature and scope of my work and applies to all services offered.
My work is therapeutic and supportive in nature, drawing from a range of psychological frameworks, hypnotherapy-based approaches, and intuitive modalities.
While many of the practices used may overlap with those found in counselling, psychotherapy, or psychology, I do not provide medical, psychiatric, or clinical psychological treatment. I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, or replace the care of a registered medical or mental health professional.
My role is best described as an integrative intuitive therapist, working at the intersection of psychology, subconscious work, and holistic support. This work is designed to complement—not replace—other forms of professional care where required.
Clients are responsible for seeking appropriate medical, psychological, or psychiatric support alongside this work if needed.

Scope of Practice & Nature of This Work Policy
Client Responsibility & Readiness Policy
While this work can be deeply supportive and transformative, outcomes vary for each individual.
Clients acknowledge that their experience and results are influenced by their own participation, honesty, and readiness to engage in the process. This work is collaborative in nature and requires active involvement both during and between sessions.
No specific outcomes or results are guaranteed. Progress may occur gradually and can look different for each person, depending on personal circumstances, capacity, and timing.
Clients are encouraged to take responsibility for their own wellbeing, choices, and integration of insights gained through this work. This includes recognising when additional or alternative forms of support may be needed alongside this process.
Emotional Safety & Self-Care Policy
This work may involve emotional exploration and the processing of personal experiences, thoughts, or memories.
Clients are responsible for monitoring their own wellbeing and capacity throughout the process, both during and between sessions. While sessions are designed to be supportive and contained, emotional responses can vary and may continue to unfold outside of scheduled appointments.
Clients are encouraged to prioritise appropriate self-care and to seek additional support from trusted people or qualified professionals if needed between sessions. This work is not intended to replace crisis support or emergency care.
If at any point a client feels overwhelmed, unsafe, or unsure about their capacity to continue, it is their responsibility to communicate this and to seek appropriate support.
Communication & Support Boundaries Policy
Between sessions, support via email or text is intended for brief check-ins, clarification, or practical matters only. This support is designed to complement scheduled sessions and is not intended to replace them.
Ongoing therapeutic processing, emotional support, or crisis management is not provided via email or text. These channels are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent or emergency support.
Messages are responded to within reasonable business hours, and response times may vary depending on workload and availability.
Clients are encouraged to bring deeper reflections, concerns, or emotional material into scheduled sessions, where they can be held with appropriate time, focus, and care.
Confidentiality & Privacy Policy
All client information is treated as confidential and handled with care and respect.
Information shared during sessions, in written forms, or through email or text communication will not be disclosed to third parties without the client’s consent, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a reasonable concern of risk of harm to the client or others.
Client information is stored securely and accessed only for the purpose of providing services and maintaining appropriate records.
Confidentiality may be limited in circumstances including, but not limited to, legal obligations, mandatory reporting requirements, or situations involving serious risk to personal safety.
Recording & Content Policy
All recordings, materials, and content provided as part of this work are for the client’s personal use only.
These materials are intended to support the client’s individual process and may not be shared, distributed, copied, reproduced, or used for any other purpose without prior written consent.
Recordings and materials remain the intellectual property of Lina Nicholls and are provided solely for use within the context of the agreed therapeutic work.
Suitability & Right to Decline Policy
I reserve the right to decline, pause, or discontinue services if I believe the work is no longer appropriate, effective, or in the client’s best interest.
This may include situations where the client’s needs fall outside the scope of my practice, where the work no longer feels aligned or safe, or where additional or alternative forms of support would be more appropriate.
This decision is made with care and professional judgment and is intended to support the wellbeing of both the client and the integrity of the work.
Where appropriate, referrals or alternative options may be suggested.
Refunds & Package Completion Policy
All sessions and packages are purchased for use within a defined time container.
Sessions included in a package must be used within one (1) month of the initial session date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. This timeframe includes any rescheduled appointments.
Unused sessions remaining after the one-month period will be forfeited and are not refundable.
Single-session bookings are also subject to the same one-month usage window. Sessions not used within this timeframe, including those rescheduled beyond the one-month period, will be forfeited.
All bookings and packages are non-refundable once confirmed, regardless of attendance, completion, or personal circumstances.
